"For the past 16 years the Office of the Fire Commissioner has been hosting the (Manitoba Emergency Services) Conference in Brandon. The conference works well in the city because it is easy for participants to travel around in, hotels are reasonably priced, good variety of restaurants, there is plenty of shopping for family members, parking is plentiful and participants are not burdened with paying for parking." -- Brenda Popko, Manager, Manitoba Emergency Services College
